I was recently asked to help a small business establish a social media presence to attract new customers. Before the advent of social media, the task of generating interest in a small business usually involved trying to come up with abridged content to publish in various small local newspapers and in phone books. In today’s world, if you are not advertising on social media you are missing out on a whole new smart and targeted method of getting in front of people. Mobile applications are used by billions of people and are the easiest way to get people to notice your business.
Some of the most common methods of advertising on social media are as follows:
- Twitter Account
- Snapchat
- Linked-In
Each channel has its own advantages and unique set of considerations but in general the idea is to tailor your message to the user audience of each channel.
For the most efficient, effective and professional approach to advertising your products and services more traditional sales methods such as creating a sales funnel are required.
I will detail in additional posts how a sales funnel works at high level and why your business should be utilizing one to sell your services and products.
